Therapy (MVT), a New Revolutionary System for the
Prevention and Treatment of: Neuropathy, Wound Care and
Ulcers.

PERIPHERAL
NEUROPATHY TREATMENT
MVT with diabetic and
non-diabetic patients creates increased blood flow and
elevated tissue oxygenation which leads to increased
neurotrophic factors, Na+, K+, ATPase vasodilation,
which in turn leads to improved nerve conduction
velocity (NCV), which leads to the restoration of
sensation and amelioration of pain. Typical treatment
period for this ailment is the same as for wound care.
ADVANCED WOUND CARE

Non-healing open
wounds (ulcers) on diabetic and non-diabetic patients
sometimes can’t be treated conventionally and may lead
to amputation. Microvas increases blood flow and tissue
oxygenation which dramatically impacts fibroblast
proliferation and collagen production to accelerate the
wound healing process. The medical community has been
battling the main obstacles of wound healing,
ischemia/hypoxia, with vasodilators, growth factors,
heating modalities, IR light and hyperbaric therapy. MVT
addresses the problem from a different perspective:
working directly and mechanically to elevate blood flow
through neuromuscular stimulation of the venous muscle
pump. Treatment period for ulcer healing is recommended
as three times per week for 12 weeks with a
re-evaluation every four weeks.
REVENUE BENEFITS FOR
YOUR PRACTICE!!!
Each treatment unit
is 15 minutes and billed under
CPT code 97032
($16.68). One daily treatment lasts 3 units (50.04).
Patients are treated 3 times a week ($150.12) for up to
12 weeks ($1,801.44). Thus one patient treatment period
pays 13 percent of the total system cost!
